What we collect

Account: phone number (OTP login), optional display name and profile photo
Vibe profile: quiz responses (15 questions mapped to lifestyle axes used for matching)
Listings: photos, descriptions, rent, locality, and preferences you post as a poster
Messages: chat content between users who connect through MyVyb
Device & usage: app version, coarse analytics events (PostHog) to improve the product

How we use data

Authenticate you and keep your account secure
Match seekers and posters by lifestyle compatibility
Show listing previews (SharePack) and in-app explore feeds
Send service notifications related to matches and messages
Improve reliability and fix bugs — not for selling your data

What we share

We do not sell personal data. Public listing previews show only what you choose to publish (photos, locality, rent band, vibe tags) — not your phone number or exact address. Chat is visible only to participants in a conversation.

Data retention & deletion

You may request account deletion or export by emailing support@myvyb.app. We delete or anonymise data within a reasonable period after verified request, subject to legal retention requirements.

Children

MyVyb is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.

You may request access, correction, or erasure of your personal data. Contact support@myvyb.app. This page is a product summary — formal legal review will precede broad marketing outside Delhi-NCR beta.
